Abstract
The Kerinci tribe in
Kerinci Regency, Jambi Provinve, Indonesia is known as one of the traditional
tribes that still maintains their ancestral cultural heritage, including
protecting local wisdom and biological ecosystems. Studies on the ethnomedicines

Kerinci tribe. The field exploration method was carried out in four villages in
the Lempur area of Kerinci Regency and interviews were conducted directly with
traditional healers to obtain information about treatment using Zingiberaceae
plants. The results showed that there were 6 plant species in the Zingiberaceae

Kaempferia galanga, Alpinia galanga, and Zingiber purpureum. These
